Foothill Town didn’t have much people in their houses and Elise is able to see some of the windows were cracked. Charles watches over the shiny Hisuian Zorua while the fox scopes out one of the empty homes. The ambassador doesn’t have to worry much about the shard of Calyrex, he is more capable of taking care of himself in battle should the need arise for him.[break][break]

Still, the atmosphere of the town was very gloomy. Creepy, even, with the emptiness of each house giving her a chill. When her legendary shard senses that the Galarian ambassador is showing signs of being afraid of the shadows that move in the darkness, he floats over to get a bit closer to her.[break][break]

The ghostly Zorua’s head pops out from the doorway since she’s seeing the shard leave to comfort the ambassador. Elise herself feels the warmth from the hare king, she knows that he cares a lot about her as much she cared for him maternally.

No matter how quaint or adorable, any sort of abandoned town held a inexplicable sense of dread and uncertainty. The town is just so quiet. Eva’s gaze spins over the rustle of the Zorua that pops its head out to watch the Calyrex shard drift over to the ambassador. Her gaze lingers momentarily on Elise, drifting between her and the hare. She appreciates the moment in silence, smiling slightly. It’s an honor to witness such a close bond between trainer and pokemon.

“Creepy isn’t it, hm?” her voice has a brightness in it to cast light over the metaphorical darkness, “I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about around here. We’ll do a quick sweep and see what we find, yeah?”

Eva had recently been teaming up with quite a few Rangers to investigate the influx of mysterious encounters that have been dominating Hoenn’s various news channels. Elise has the knowledge of the lay of the land and its ghostly inhabitants and Eva has the scientific expertise. Teamwork makes the dream work.
